If you’re like most of my readers, you recognize the challenges you face in leading your family well. You are committed to giving your family every opportunity to thrive. You know that your own personal growth and your leadership greatly impact your family. You want to leave a lasting impact on your family.
You are willing, but maybe just don’t understand the details of leading your family. Maybe, like me, you’ve heard others explain your responsibilities as the leader of your family. Armed now with an understanding of your responsibilities, you are left with a simple question.
Does This Describe You?
No need to be ashamed, be honest. Do you ask yourself these questions?
- How do I lead my family well?
- What do I need to do to lead my family well?
- How do I balance my family leadership responsibilities with all the other demands of life?
- How do I protect my family from the busyness that plagues the typical family?
You no longer need to feel alone in these struggles. All of us have felt this way and asked ourselves similar questions.
I Understand How You Feel
Being “in church” all of my life, accepting Jesus as my Lord as a teenager, married over twenty-one years, and father of three children, I fully understand your challenges and struggles to lead your family.
Additionally, I recognize the failure of the church and other Christian organizations to equip men to lead their family well. Too often, these organizations are quick to proclaim our leadership responsibilities, but far too few are willing to dig into the effort to encourage and equip men to be obedient to those responsibilities.
I’ve personally experienced the pull and temptation to place career over family. I share your insecurity and fear of properly providing for your family. I understand your struggle to properly connect with your children within the limited hours you can spend with them each day.
My Goal With This Blog
I’m committed to deviate from the status-quo of family leadership. I have made a vow to God and my family that I will devote any amount of time, money, and effort needed to lead our family well. I’m additionally equally committed to sharing with you the tools needed to equip you to lead your family well.
I hope you will join me in this endeavor to leave a lasting impact on your family through real leadership.
